Presented by Tim Clifford
Under current Employment Law, employees can only pursue claims for unfair dismissal after two years.
That’s all set to change. But not quite how the government initially intended. Originally, day one unfair dismissal rights were on the cards. Not anymore.
After a House of Lords amendment, day one proposals have been scrapped, and instead, the current two-year qualifying period is to be reduced to six months.
Not due to land until January 2027, nevertheless, businesses must be ably prepared for this change. Join our Head of Insights, Tim Clifford, as he discusses how these changes will affect your business much sooner than you think – affecting your business, your recruitment and your people strategy.
