We are thrilled to announce that Talos360 is officially ISO27001:2022 certified.
After successfully completing the external audit stages with UKAS accredited British Assessment Bureau, and thanks to the help from our information security compliance extraordinaire, Stuart Thomas, Talos360 are now ISO27001:2022 certified.
Talos360 achieves ISO27001 certification
A notoriously difficult-to-attain yet essential information security standard, the ISO27001 certification recognises Talos360’s dedication to security compliance, data integrity and confidentiality, and organisation-wide security, ensuring Talos360 and our clients are safe against data breaches and potential cyber-risks.
What is an ISO27001:2022 certification?
The globally recognised Information Security Management System standard, ISO27001, defines an organisation’s ISMS requirements and provides guidance on establishing, maintaining and improving their ISMS.
At Talos360, we are always finding ways to improve our organisation, and our next goal was to secure our ISO 27001:2022 certificate by demonstrating our ability to conform to the required standards. To do this, Talos360’s talented IT Security and Compliance Manager, Stuart Thomas, put a system in place to manage potential risks related to data owned or handled by Talos360 and introduce the ISO 27001 best practices and requirements into Talos360’s ISMS.
For a SaaS organisation such as Talos360, this certification provides evidence of the fundamental information security practices that are being undertaken to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and accessibility of the organisation and its customers’ data.
What does this mean for Talos360?
“Although Talos achieving ISO certification has a herculean task, the fundamental security controls that protect our customers’ data have always been in place.
We’ve now evidenced this, and along with our Cyber Essentials Plus certification, we can add 27001 to our growing trophy cabinet of information security and data privacy standards.”
Talos360’s IT Security and Compliance Manager, Stuart Thomas, said:
“We set in stone the standards the business must maintain for information security and will look to continually improve and adapt to new technologies, our customer requirements, and the regulatory demands of the industry.”
When using a cloud-based product like Talos ATS or Talos Engage, clients want to ensure their data is handled and stored securely. Talos360’s ISO 27001 certification ensures that Talos360’s systems are highly secure and reliable, capable of safely handling and storing data. As such a scrutinous standard, obtaining the ISO 27001 certification ensures risk to our current and future customers is properly managed, allowing Talos360 to continue working with organisations with strict security requirements and allowing us to share our award-winning talent technology with more organisations across the UK.
