11th September 2020 2 MIN READ
It’s been a long time in the making. After months of preparation, on Friday the 29th July, we finally closed our doors at 1pm and all headed off to Reel cinema to kick off our H1 Business Update. However, it wasn’t your ‘usual’ H1 Business Update…
Reel Cinema – 2pm
The music goes off, the lights dim, and we find out why Ste & Tom haven’t arrived yet. Tom’s been having trouble finding a new mascot for the business, but eventually ran into a lonely Panda and recruited him to become the new face of 360.
CEO Stephen Rundell and Co-Founder Tomas Coulter then went over financials for H1, looked back on each individual department’s top successes over the past 6 months, and excitedly looked ahead to the many great things to come in H2.
We have a lot of great people at 360, so we like to celebrate when they do great things. Executive Assistant Jasmin Zamir hosted a news show called JP News, where she reviewed all the incredible things our people have done this year, from graduating university to celebrating new born babies.
After looking back at our last Christmas Party, reminiscing over February’s South Africa trip, and getting pumped up for our 2017 Snowbombing incentive, we wrapped up the Business Update with an interview-style episode of ‘Late Bants Tonight’ on our staff room’s famous red couch.
Silver Blades Ice Rink – 4pm
To cool down after cooking in a hot cinema for 2 hours, next we went straight next door to the local ice rink. The ice was a little slippery for some, but there was no shortage of competition amongst some of our more seasoned skaters! Account Executive Steph Price was even showing off her next-level backwards skating skills. Top notch performance.
360Fest Party – 6pm
With enough time to change from skating gear to Fest dress, we all converged at St. Helens Bowling club for the second year in a row (yes, they actually let us back for another party) for a night of BBQ food, unlimited drinks and a silent disco.
The silent disco boasted two stations to tune into, manned by Account Manager Shaun Corness with his classic ’80s sing-alongs, and Luxury Retail Team Leader Davide Zambetta with an absolutely booming techno set.
All in all, 360Fest was a brilliant day. As always, Jasmin did a stellar job putting the whole day together and we’re now looking forward to the next big thing: 360’s Christmas Rockstar Awards.
