Recruitment challenges

Before implementing Talos360, Forge Holiday Group struggled with an overly manual recruitment process. For example, candidate attraction was extremely difficult due to a very basic and inflexible third-party careers site. Lacking functionality and branding, the candidate journey was confusing, which made brand storytelling incredibly difficult. Additionally, with absolutely no automation, the team had to coordinate every aspect of job posting. From writing individual job descriptions to manually posting to individual job boards, admin had become an extremely time-consuming task, sometimes taking as long as an hour to post a single job.

We’ve reduced time spent on administration: Talos ATS has automated our entire administration. What took us one hour now only takes five minutes. With the use of AI-powered job ad descriptions to help us write up individual roles, and Talos360’s one-click multi-channel job posting, we’ve massively sped up our recruitment cycle.

Now, thanks to Talos ATS, we’ve launched a custom-built, fully integrated branded careers hub that’s easy to navigate and showcases our exciting job opportunities. It’s the total opposite of what we had before. Thanks to branded pages, testimonials, photos, and updates - all of which are really easy to update and manage - this 360 revamp has now landed us a place in the 2025 IHR award finals.

We can now handle more vacancies:  Previously, being bogged down by manual processes, we’d never manage 80 active vacancies efficiently. But thanks to Talos360, that’s the number we’re confidently managing now, effectively doubling our efforts pre-Talos. In addition, we’ve also seen a greater alignment of seasonal and permanent roles, thanks to the flexibility and ease of use of Talos ATS.

Our whole recruitment process is faster: Thanks to Talos360’s automation capabilities, we can now archive job postings quickly, freeing up time that would have been spent manually removing listings from various job boards. Given the high turnover of some of our roles, particularly housekeeping and operations within forest lodges, this efficiency turnaround has been huge.
