Brew Monday – 19th January 

Brew Monday is the first employee wellbeing initiative in our HR calendar 2027. Organised by the Samaritans, Brew Monday is a Blue Monday alternative aimed at supporting employee wellbeing on what is said to be “the most depressing day of the year”.

Random Acts of Kindness Day is there to do just that: promote and celebrate kindness and generosity in the workplace. Time to Talk Day – 25th February 

Time to Talk Day is a UK initiative created by the charity Mind UK and is important for every HR calendar.

World Health Day – 7th April 

World Health Day takes place on the 7th of April every year and marks the anniversary of the foundation of the World Health Organisation. The next addition to our HR Calendar helps to raise awareness of various health conditions.

Mental Health Awareness Week – 10th – 16th May 

Mental Health Awareness Week is a UK awareness week bringing light to mental health and supporting those affected. One of the most important dates for your 2027 HR calendar, Mental Health Awareness Week is supported by a number of charities, including Mind and the Samaritans, and gives employers the chance to support their people and reduce the stigma around mental health in the workplace. 

During this week, HR professionals can lead and encourage conversations around mental wellbeing and work to ensure employees feel comfortable enough to speak about any mental health difficulties they may have. is definitely a staple for every HR calendar in 2027. 

International Human Resources Day – 20th May
