Cats Protection is the UK's leading cat welfare charity, helping over 157,000 cats and kittens a year through the efforts of over 10,000 volunteers and employees. This phenomenal feat has been achieved because of the charity's ambitious vision. A vision that sees every cat protected, every cat cared for, and every cat understood. And their mission? To deliver on that vision.

Recruitment challenges

Before using Talos ATS, Cats Protection manually reviewed and assessed every candidate that applied for one of their advertised roles. Massively time-consuming, the charity understood that a fully streamlined, bias-free and manageable approach was required, not just for the benefit of its recruitment managers and talent acquisition team, but for their candidates too.

''Having used the Talos360 applicant tracking system day in, day out for the last four years, we'd find it difficult to recruit without it now. Some of the standout features for us include our ability to one-click advertise to all our job board partners, since they're all integrated with Talos. I'd also like to mention Talos360's newly launched product, Talent Analytics. This new module has been magnificent. For example, it's helped us better streamline our advertising channels by reducing our spend with job boards and agencies that, beforehand, we would have automatically used.

In the four years we've been using Talos ATS, we've reduced our recruitment spend by nearly two-thirds, while completing over 1,000 successful recruitment campaigns. It's worth noting, too, that in that time, we've created better, long-lasting and trusted relationships with our hiring managers. In addition, Talos ATS has helped us create a strong talent pool for potential future candidates, while improving the charity's EDI commitments.

Simply put, Talos ATS has revolutionised the way we now recruit.
