A national recruitment resourcing company, 360 Resourcing Solutions, took one of the top honours at an awards ceremony held in St Helens last night.
360 Resourcing received the ‘Best Use of Technology’ prize at yesterday’s Wish FM St Helens Chamber Business Awards 2018. The honour, which was presented at the home of St Helens RFC, the Totally Wicked Stadium, recognised 360 Resourcing’s innovative use of a range of technologies, benefitting clients, job seekers, and the business itself.
Best in class
The technology acknowledged in the awards includes 360’s applicant tracking system (ATS), Talos, which has been developed by the recruitment firm’s development team. 360 are one of the only recruitment specialists in the UK to have a team of in-house IT developers, who design best-in-class recruitment software specifically for their clients.
Talos combines an ATS, candidate-management software, and a job board-distribution facility (multi-poster). This software makes filtering, monitoring, and reporting on job vacancies easy for 360’s clients. It is also GDPR compliant, giving HR professionals and recruiters one fewer thing to worry about.
Tomas Coulter, 360’s director and co-founder, praised the tech team for working “tirelessly to ensure we have an amazing product” in Talos.
360 Resourcing’s ATS enables its clients to minimise their cost per hire, reduce the time spent on recruitment admin, and easily promote employer branding to their target audience. With a happiness list and implementation road map, 360 is continually evolving its tech offering to make sure that it provides exceptional customer service.
Speaking before the St Helens Chamber awards ceremony, Tomas stated:

Community feel
The Best use of Technology award also recognised how high-tech software and devices can be used to help businesses grow, improve engagement, and promote efficient working.
The latter was supported by the company’s encouragement of employee engagement via a business-wide intranet named BOB. It allows the 360 colleagues to celebrate individual successes, share social events and charity days within teams, and recognise achievement via an employee-presented rewards system, Panda Points. BOB has been described as invaluable in maintaining the close-knit community feel of 360 Resourcing as it continues to grow.
The Chamber award also took into account the resourcing company’s commitment to robust cyber security, in order to protect both their own data and that of their clients. The firm has also streamlined in-house processes by implementing a new CRM (Salesforce) to further improve client communication and has increased investment in its digital marketing.
Tomas added:
“Technology is the centre of everything we do and we are constantly communicating with our sales executives about the services we are able to offer. This communication process works in both directions, and our sales executives also talk directly to our developers. This two-way process means that we can come up with solutions that are directly tailored to our clients’ needs and requirements.”
