International Women’s Day at Talos360: We’re All Leaders

8th March 2026 3 MIN READ

International Women’s Day isn’t about excluding anyone – it’s about recognising the unique experiences, contributions, and challenges that women continue to navigate in the workplace and in society. It’s also an opportunity to celebrate progress, acknowledge the work still to be done, and most importantly, create space for open and meaningful conversations.

At Talos360, this year’s International Women’s Day was exactly that…

With over 40% of our workforce made up of women, there is certainly a lot to celebrate. On Thursday, 5 March, the women across our organisation travelled to Manchester for an afternoon dedicated to connection, reflection, and celebration.

It was a chance to step away from the day-to-day, enjoy great food and drinks together, and share stories, experiences, and perspectives that don’t always get the spotlight during busy working weeks.

Setting the Scene: “We’re All Leaders”

The afternoon began with an inspiring opening talk from our CEO, Janette Martin, who set the tone for the day with a powerful message around our theme for this year: We’re All Leaders.

Janette spoke about leadership not as a job title, but as a mindset and a responsibility we all carry – whether we’re leading teams, projects, ideas, or the impact we have on those around us in our professional and personal life. She reflected on the importance of confidence, visibility, and creating environments where women feel empowered to speak up, share ideas, and be their authentic selves.

IWD Janette Quote - International Women’s Day at Talos360: We’re All Leaders

A simple but impactful message.

Sharing Experiences

One of the most powerful parts of the afternoon came from the conversations around the tables, as the women across our business shared and reflected on their own experiences.

These conversations were honest, thoughtful, and often deeply relatable. From career journeys and moments of self-doubt to stories of growth, resilience, and the importance of supportive colleagues, the room quickly filled with a sense of openness and trust.

There were reflections on:

  • Navigating confidence and imposter syndrome
  • Balancing career ambitions with life outside of work
  • The importance of mentorship and allyship
  • Learning to recognise and celebrate personal achievements
  • The value of supportive teams and strong networks

What made the conversations particularly special was the diversity of perspectives. Colleagues at different stages of their careers shared how their experiences have shaped their confidence, ambitions, and leadership styles.

And while many of the stories were personal, the themes were shared: resilience, growth, and the power of lifting each other up.

Connection Beyond the Day-to-Day

In a growing organisation where teams often work across different locations and departments, taking the time to come together in person is incredibly valuable. The afternoon was filled with laughter, great conversations, and the kind of moments that strengthen relationships across the business.

Whether it was colleagues meeting for the first time in person or catching up with familiar faces, the energy in the room reflected what makes Talos360 such a great place to work: our people.

Celebrating the Women of Talos360

International Women’s Day is also a reminder to celebrate the achievements – both big and small – of the women around us every day.

From the leaders shaping our strategy to the teams supporting our customers, building our technology, driving innovation, and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes, the contributions of women across Talos360 play a huge role in the success of our business.

At Talos360, we champion diversity and inclusivity and are committed to removing barriers and welcoming opportunities for our people to grow. In an industry where just 26-29% of the workforce is represented by females, we couldn’t be prouder to foster a workforce of which 40% are female.

This International Women’s Day, we are proud to celebrate:

  • 40% of total workforce is female
  • 50% of our Executive Team is female
  • 30% of our Tech Team is female

This event was a chance to recognise the contributions the women within our business make, celebrate them, and continue encouraging each other to step forward, speak up, and lead in our own ways. Because leadership doesn’t always mean standing at the front of the room.

Sometimes it’s mentoring a colleague, sharing an idea, supporting a teammate, challenging our own way of thinking, or simply having the courage to believe in your own voice.

And that’s exactly why our theme this year resonated so strongly:

We’re all leaders.

We hope you have a wonderful International Women’s Day celebrating the women in your organisations and personal lives.
