Introducing Talos360’s Freya Kirk-Roberts: Women in Tech 2024

6th March 2025 2 MIN READ

Here at Talos360, our people are at the heart of everything we do, and we are proud to support such a diverse workplace, of which 46% identify as female – a considerable increase on the national average of 29%.

We are especially proud to support our women developing their careers in tech, with 39% of our tech team identifying as female, again absolutely knocking the national average of 24% out of the park.

Celebrating International Women’s Day 2025

As part of our support for women in the workplace, we hold annual awards for our top-performing women in tech. This year’s winner, Freya Kirk-Roberts, has had an exceptional career at Talos360, and 2024 was certainly a year to shout about.

Ahead of International Women’s Day, we sat down with Freya to discuss her success in 2024, the drive behind her success and what advice she’d offer to any woman pursuing a career in tech.

Introducing Freya Kirk-Roberts: Talos360’s Women in Tech 2024

How has working for Talos360 helped you succeed in your career?

At Talos, I’ve had the opportunity to work in lots of different roles. I started about seven years ago in an admin role, then had the opportunity to step into implementation, and I really enjoyed the problem-solving aspects of that role.

I had the opportunity to then manage that team for a little while before I stepped into my current role, which is Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant. So it’s been a really nice opportunity to be able to explore lots of different avenues and learn lots of different things.

What personal achievements have you experienced in Talos360?

Having been here for so long. I’ve had lots of different, really nice wins every year. Last year though, I won Talos360’s Women in Tech 2025, which was a massive achievement for me.

Working in such a male dominated industry, it’s really nice to be able to celebrate the women in their achievements. That was definitely my biggest win of last year.

What drives you to succeed in your career?

I would say my biggest drivers are my wants to succeed. I very much live in line with my values. One of my values is happiness and that is not necessarily to do with just my career, just my job or just my life, but everything I do in my day makes me happy.

What advice would you give to women looking to start their career in tech this International Women’s Day?

So the advice that I would look to give other women, especially those who are looking to explore a career in tech, is to take every opportunity that is presented to you, take every learning opportunity.

I very much had that at Talos360, and I’ve been able to explore lots of different areas of the business. And that’s allowed me to elevate my career as a woman in tech. I would definitely say understanding your values is key. And living in line with those in everything you do.
